Reading Comprehension Test Result

Your reading comprehension score will be shown above after you finish the Reading Comprehension and Memory Test.

This reading comprehension test was designed such that it should not be difficult to score at least 90% if you read with your normal speed and answer the above questions carefully. If you do not reach this comprehension score, it means your reading speed just measured is higher than your actual speed. Otherwise the measured reading speed should be quite accurate.

Please write down your comprehension test score. While you are waiting for the mini-course to be delivered, feel free to leave us a comment with your reading scores or how you feel about our test!

It’s really a useful course for non-English speaker like me. Internet Ages opens the information doors to us, a plenty of latest information from worldwide flying towards me everyday. Speed reading can help me keep updating on such fast moving high tech generation. When I experience the free mini course, I found it is not only teach how to speed up reading like other software, but also teach how to improve in comprehension and memory. A very useful technique! I think I’ll try the full course very soon.

I found this test surprising. I had no idea how fast or slow I normally read and my comprehension was only 60%. I’m sure that’s because I skip over important points. So now I want to learn how to speed read correctly so I retain the relevant information. I’m sure this will help with my studies too :)

After taking the test, I realize I need alot of help. I am currently taking an LVN course, and there is alot of reading involved. I feel this mini course will help me. This sounds like a great learning tool, which is what I was looking for.

#15 victor on 02.04.11 at 2:04 pm

This is a useful tool. The comprehension exercise after the reading was helpful in checking the balance between my speed and comprehension.

#16 Mohammed on 02.08.11 at 11:48 pm

#19 johnny corrales on 03.07.11 at 10:56 pm

254 wpm and 60% comprehension test, not bad for a student right?….

#20 spenz on 03.26.11 at 3:02 am

This seems to be a good way to learn speed reading.

#21 thesa on 03.30.11 at 12:11 am

I got 80%, not bad.

#22 farzana on 03.31.11 at 10:00 pm

It’s undoubtedly an invaluable process to help the learners, who get startled every now and then only because of reading, paving a way towards the world of confidence!

#23 Mary on 04.03.11 at 6:01 pm

477wpm with 90% comprehension score… I’m a junior in High School

#24 McKenzie on 04.25.11 at 12:49 pm

I got 510 wpm. Not bad, I think.

#25 Katie Redding on 05.01.11 at 11:32 am

I thought I would do better. I had 271wpm, with only 60% understanding. I thought I was much better than that. So I can see I need a lot of help in this area.

#26 lol on 05.24.11 at 5:59 am

#27 Ewerton on 06.11.11 at 10:44 am

#28 Akshey on 06.25.11 at 8:16 pm

#29 Vioxreme on 07.08.11 at 2:07 pm

really essential

#30 Matt on 07.29.11 at 11:59 am

534 wpm and a 70% comprehension on the test. Only in high school.

#31 Shelby on 08.09.11 at 11:00 am

I scored 1253 words per minute and got a 70% comprehension…so ill take it that if i were to recieve a 90% my words per minute would be like 900 or so. HAHA i skim read..it works.

#32 'laine on 09.02.11 at 8:22 pm

651 wpm, and a “70% ” on the test…because my mouse repeatedly clicked without me telling it to. -.- According to a program my high school used, my average was 800 wpm…clearly I need to get my reading back into shape.

#33 Dillian Hill on 09.08.11 at 9:21 am

I’m home-schooling my daughter, (8th grade) her, “Of Places”, Literature (A Beka Book)has a, “Check Your Speed”, at the end of each story…her speed is not always good but her comprehension is always GREAT! I researched Speed Reading, found your site, tried it out for myself, I read, 277 WPM, 50% Comprehension, I guess not too bad considering I’m 41 and haven’t been in school since 2002, where I completed several Career Enhancement Classes. I can’t wait for my daughter to try your Reading & Comprehension Test. I think your site will help us both improve on our reading and comprehension skills.

#37 Roshan on 11.21.11 at 5:59 pm

Thanks for the speed reading it will bring a really good help to slow readers and also to their skills to grow faster..
This is really important for all human beings who wants to come up in their life i mean in their career….

#38 P. Baugh on 12.20.11 at 8:14 pm

Good day! I just wish to give a huge thumbs up for the nice data you might have right here on this post. I will be sharing this page to my friends.

#39 zhou shujing on 12.30.11 at 4:26 am

I am a teacher of English in a junior high school and have taught for about 15 years. I thought I could do well enough in the test, but to my surprise and disappointment, neither my reading speed nor comprehension is satisfying. Thanks to your test, I know clearly about my weakness in reading. I will have to practice more to improve myself.
